How a Love of Systems Sparked a Business
For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved all things organizing and planning. Looking back, I should have seen this career path coming (it’s a natural fit!), but more on that later. In all honesty though, I never expected to start my own business.
Growing up, I always had high aspirations and a strong belief that I could accomplish anything I set out for myself. I grew up in a small town, attended college, and set my mind on a career in the medical field, leading me to a career in Molecular Diagnostics working in a healthcare laboratory. There, I honed skills that would later shape my business: creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), organizing projects, applying LEAN techniques, and improving processes. And I quickly found a passion for this type of work!
I dreamed of a career path that had me leaping out of bed each morning, brimming with excitement for the day ahead! That allowed me continued personal and professional growth and enabled me to travel more and set my own boundaries on my work-life balance.
The further my search took me, the more skills I developed, and the more I started realizing that if I couldn’t find the path I wanted to pursue, I would create one for myself!
And so Spark to Sprig was born.
My mission is to help visionary leaders and entrepreneurs simplify their behind-the-scenes operations, manage projects and ideas, and achieve sustainable growth—while serving as a strategic partner who can help turn business dreams into reality.
